How this site handles information

Joh Azores operates johazores.com as a personal business hub for software services, professional opportunities, products, open source, and technical writing. This page describes the main categories of information used by the site and should be updated whenever a new analytics, advertising, payment, newsletter, account, or delivery provider is activated.

Analytics

Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics may collect aggregated information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device information, referrers, and interactions. Google Analytics storage is denied by default and is enabled only after a visitor selects “Allow analytics.” Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled. Visitors can clear the site's local storage to reset that choice.

Enquiries and contact information

Information submitted through contact forms or email is used to review and respond to freelance, consulting, employment, partnership, sponsorship, product, or community opportunities; maintain necessary business records; and protect the site from abuse. It is not sold to advertisers.

Newsletter subscriptions store the submitted email address, optional name, selected interests, confirmation status, source, and limited abuse-prevention information. An address must be confirmed before becoming active, and every message must provide a working unsubscribe method.

Affiliate and external links

External services may receive normal referral and browser information when a link is opened. Their own privacy policies control how they process data.

Social and publishing integrations

Administrative integrations use official provider APIs where configured. Access tokens remain server-side and are used only for authorized accounts and approved content.

Retention and choices

Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, legal obligations, security, or legitimate business records. A person may ask about information they submitted, request a correction or deletion where applicable, unsubscribe, or raise a privacy concern by email.
